Handcent not showing unread msgs on widget???

I've used handcent before on my HTC Aria, but I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S2 (ATT) and downloaded handcent for it. I get notification of unread messages at the top of my screen, but not on the widget itself down at the bottom. Does anyone know how to fix this so that widget will show my unread messages count? It worked properly on my HTC. Thanks!

I'm not sure, but see if there are any settings for the widget. I didn't see anything within the app settings for this.

Maybe I'm wrong. My default messenger did this and maybe I just assumed Handcent did too. I can't find any settings for this anywhere either. Thanks
