Help Handcent plays 2 notification sounds

Hi,
I am using Handcent for my text messages. I selected a new notification sound for this,and went into the old Messages program and turned off notifications in that one.
However,when I receive a text it still plays 2 notification sounds at the same time.
Does anyone know how to stop this from happening,please?

Have you unchecked ALL settings in Sense SMS? Check to make sure you have.

If that doesn't solve it, uninstall and reinstall Handcent.
