Handcent problem!

    Hello

    Im using HandcentSMS for my texts, but its crashing like hell (crach, doesnt open, reboot..) thats why my CPU is at 100% all the time.

    Someone got the same problem? a solution for it?
    have a htc desire.

    I have a Vibrant so I can't say anything specific to the Desire. Even so, the first thing I'd try is uninstall/reinstall.

    Did you install any of the font packs? I know that one of the font packs will cause it to crash...

    Good point. I've never used any of the font packs so I wouldn't know.

    i dont use any font packs.
    Can it be because of the amount of text messages?

    Some android phones tend to glitch up in messaging when dealing with multiple threads with hundreds of messages in a thread.

    Get message cleanup, set it to delete everything a few weeks old, and cut to 100-200 messages a thread, plug it in at night, and wait til it's done in the morning.

    It'll take a while, but that could possibly be the problem.
