Hello everyone.
I am very new to the world of Smart Phones. I have the Droid 2 Global. I am having the hardest time seeing the very small fonts when texting. I am using the Handcent app.

I am wondering if the app allows you to edit and make the font larger?

Sorry if this is a repeat thread. any help please.
Thank you
Matthew

Not sure about Handset; might be worth contacting the developer direct asking for that to be added. I'm sure if you are having problems there is a huge amount of other people having similar problems.

In the meantime the app below allows you to increase the font size in the stock messaging app;

Don't forget you can always "talk" your text in via Google voice which is a stock app.

Welcome to the world of smartphones, once you get the hang of things, you'll love it. If you go into the settings menu, in Handcent click: custom style> conversation list settings> contact font, you should see to the right at the bottom, "size" with a (+ and -). (Go in each setting for font only and change the size to your desire.) Hit the back button and select: bubble settings> incoming font, outgoing font, date font and contact font and change the same way using size (+ and -). Its some work, but love the customization.

Thanks I did it and it worked. The only area that I noticed that didn't allow me to customize was in the 'to' box. When you type in the recipiant's name it still comes up small. If you know how to fix that then thanks! If not still THANKS for all of your help.

Try going back into the Handcent menu> settings> custom style> bubble settings. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the tab and select "contact font" see if that works. Funny, I didn't know Handcent could do all this until you asked. (I thought I knew everything about it.) You learn something new everyday.

I did try it and it just changes the font size ofthe contact on the main screen when you see who the text is from. I contacted the help / support e-mail for Handcent and once I get an answer I will get back to you.
Thanks!

Update...after writing several e-mails to handcent's support site, I just got an auto reply answer. It was almost like they didn't even read my question. So I am just going to go straight to my contacts and send my texts that way.
