Handcent users....I screwed up.

I use Handcent as my default MMS viewer and it rocks. I receive video clips of my kids from my wife's phone, and when I click on them, it gives me the choice to play it with the default video player, or Act1 Video player which is installed. When I hit Act 1 video player, I get an error and the video does not play. But I stupidly had it selected when I hit the check box marked "use as default" when I wanted to use the default EVO player. Now when I click a video embedded in a text message, it launches into Act 1 and crashes!! How can I select the EVO video player as the default? I have searched EVERYWHERE in Handcent and in the EVO settings.

So frustrating.

go into settings>applications>manage applications, and go to the act 1 app and select clear defaults and try the video again

You rock dude. I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure that out!

No problem.... if you ever want to disable sense or another app that is set as a default just go to that app in that menu and clear the defaults.

THEFORCE, tht is awesome. I had done the same thing for the picture view default...I reinstalled Fresh to reset the default...your way is much easier...lol.
