Help Handset Sound Quality Issues

Hey, every time I call somebody and don't use speaker phone and use the handset speaker I get terrible sound quality from it and it's difficult to understand what the person calling me is saying.. Anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

This may sound a bit weird but is extremely common, check the ear speaker region for any foreign objects like dust or lint.

I have already checked with a toothpick and there doesn't seem to be anything there. It seems to work normally if I have speaker phone on, however when the ear speaker region is active it's terrible and extremely difficult to understand what people are saying.

In that case i would have to advise that you return the phone to the place of purchase so that it may be looked at by an authorised repair agent.
