Hi does anyone have/know of a method for managing the inline control for headphones

I use N7Player for music mainly because it supports custom settings with the inline remote for skipping/repeating songs. Pre-JellyBean this worked perfectly.

Post-JellyBean however the N7Player software doesnt appear to have control to overide existing functions of the button. So when I skip a track, the phone also rings the last person I called. which as you can imagine was rather confusing the first time i happened!

does anyone know of any means for fixing this?

Look for an app on Play called Jays Headset Control and that should sort it out. You can configure it for double/triple clicks etc, just like you could N7.

thanks for the suggestion, I tried that app but I cant see how to (if you can) edit what the button does.. it seems to be stuck with it. looks like you can add futher actions but not edit the basic ones.

    :(

Open Jays, hit advanced, then button actions and you should be able to configure what the buttons do?

You'll also need to change the target player in Jays settings and also ensure any headset control options in N7 are disabled too.

yeah i did all that but it seems to make no difference. its like the phones function arent being changed. I set double click to mute mic on the phone option and next song on the headphones setting. I have my player on and Jays running too. double click and it just pauses the song and rings the last dialled number

    :(

i also removed any phone choice from single click and set the headphones to skip to the next track on single click..does nothing :(

    that one works!!!!!!

it has a cool debug mode that tells you its registering the clicks and it has plenty of optional functions.

    I LOVE YOU

    :D Much gratitude!
