I worked around an electrician for years. He and his brother inherited the family farm in Oklahoma and converted some of the out buildings into medical pot farms. They had to invest in a lot of equipment.. mostly lighting and air as I understood. Being among the first to acquire a license to grow and have a crop to sell they are now in the big time. It is fascinating all that goes into producing and to meet state requirements. Not to mention the incredible struggle they went through to get their seeds.

an old business partner of mine went to a lot of lengths to grow his own pot. he had a whole room dedicated to growing weed. he had his lighting on a rotating guide that simulates the rise and fall of the sun. he also had it very well ventilated.....not to mention that it was all done hydroponically.......this was 15 years or so ago and well before it became legal.

My daughter and her husband live in California where it is legal. Neither are drinkers but they do enjoy the plant on a recreational level on occasion. They feel like they have stepped into the twilight zone when they come to Kansas to visit. Kansas might well be the last state to make cannabis legal. After all, we have eight counties that the sale of alcohol is illegal.
