    Hi All,
Have the GT540 since mid January and it was full with pre-installed Portuguese apps in spite of buying it in the Netherlands.
Thanks to different fora I managed to update it from 1.6 to 2.1 but the unwanted apps were still there.
Again with help of these fora rooted the device using rootGT540 and using Titanium/Busy Box managed to delete most of the unwanted apps.
Activated GMail and activated 2 accounts. I now want to delete 1 of these but GMail does not allow this and advises to do a reset.
I wonder what a reset does to a rooted GT540 so advise from this forum is appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I don't think it will reset you root and it shouldn't bring back deleted apps ever. If it dose use an app call 4zroot. Find the latest version at 4shated.com, it will root you phone, install busybox and superuser by clicking one button. I think I'm using version 1.30 and it worked.
