I checked around for a while but couldn't find an answer tot his one. Is there any way to disable the hardware buttons when the screen is turned off? It keeps getting turned on in my pocket and draining the battery. Any help would be appreciated.

Just so that we understand...I was referring to the three hardware buttons at the bottom of the phone. They are easy to press while the phone is in your pocket. The power button on top does not have this problem.

I know your pain but as far as I can figure out there is no option to swap the home key around.

It would be nice if you could switch it to the power button or even one of the side hard keys but until the bootloader has been cracked and custom ROM's written we will have to suffer.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to leave it in its case in my pocket for now.

it may sound weird but when its in trouser pocket - have it so the back of the phone is against your leg and the front facing away from your body

i done that and seems to stay locked more.....oh and dont have anything else in there like coins / keys etc

I prefer to keep the back to the outside to prevent damage to the screen, same for coins and keys, but thanks for the suggestion.
