Support has anyone been able to video chat with skype

    just to clarify, i know i can video chat with google talk and have done so. but i have alot of friends on skype and was wondering why the video chat on skype wont work, i am able to audio chat and when i press the video chat, the bionic looks like it wants to go into video chat but it never does. any clue what is wrong or is it just not available yet?

    tango for the win. I didn't like Google Talk's video quality. In my limited tests, Tango is far superior.

    Skype work well with my Nexus s. With an xda tweaked skype app. May be you can find one for your phone...

    stock skype app just updated in the market and now supports the bionic and video calling, just tried it and it works for me

    Why do things have to be so difficult? I re-installed skype last night and all I got was audio on both ends. No video. Skype video works fine using my pc to video call someone else so the settings are not wrong. I just don

    New skype version release 9/29 works beautifully. Bionic must be video enabled, and you must place your call as video, not audio.

    I had also loaded the xda developer version previously and it worked great as well.

    I was showing my friends and one who has the X said she "needs a new phone now!"
