I've got HTC One X, generally very pleased with it but all of a sudden, headphones or any other devices through the headphone jack at the top don't work, music continues to play through the speaker. Do we think this is fixable at home or a fault that emerged? tested headphones and other devices and all play through my old desire. It's been fine up to today... Grateful for any suggestions.

    Thanks All

I had some issues with the jack as well (phone started blasting music when I was in my cubicle at work ).
Anyway, I pluged in and out the jack until it works. I don't know exactly what is the problem, one thing I noticed though is the jack plug is in the back curve of the phone, so it's like the jack is not 'in' all the way...

I am having this issue also. Talked to HTC and it sounds like a faulty jack. I'm working on getting a replacement now.

My desire used to lose the ability to use the 3.5mm jack. An off/on cycle used to fix it.
