Support Has anyone had a seamless bug-free Froyo upgrade?

Soon after I received my phone (2.1) I flashed it to 2.2. While there were several nice new features, the email sound notifications stopped altogether. T-Mobile tech help could not solve the problem, and they were kind enough to ship me a new phone with 2.1 after some negotiations.

I would like to be able to use the 2.2 features, but am VERY reluctant to try the upgrade again.

Has anyone had a really clean upgrade?

After you flash to 2.2, do a factory reset. Seems to solve a lot of problems.

Hi:)ill make this quick! i bought a Samsung galaxy s from e-bay,it came un-locked and with froyo 2.2,but after just 5 days it crashed and im left with the black screen of death, and vibrates now and again and the 2 bottom buttons light up,if i do a reset using the 3 button method, will i lose my unlock? because i have'nt been able to use my mobile for 13 days!!!
    Hopefully, Jim Cole:)

The browsing experience has went for a toss with frequent force close after I "upgraded" to 2.2 I did a factory reset atleast 2-3 times.

My transition was fine, although I am pretty unhappy about the loss of certain features (see my thread: "Post Froyo Update, How Do I Get Certain Features Back?")

The factory reset via settings hasnt worked for me. And I havent tried a factory reset via recovery menu. Waiting for 2.2.1 to release officially in my country.

I upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 a few weeks ago.

Everything on my phone is working properly.

I am also on Tmobile in USA.
