Because I hadn't until I saw this thread..

and saw the second to last reply about the app "Volume Boost"

turns out its $2.00 and isn't reliable cross-platform.

While on the market however I found the app Volume+ by Meltus

    two words: insane.

Its a $1.44 on your phone and it was well worth the purchase if you ever thought the max volume on your phone wasn't as high as it could be, even with an equalizer.

Im running latest nightly cm7 on a v4 evo. I also have a pair of studio AKG 271mkII headphones. A couple of the custom equalizer settings available made pandora sound like it was amped.

It disables DSP and allows you to customize profiles for the headset output, built in speaker, and bluetooth sets with these options:

Equalizer Profile (custom included profiles rule)
Max Volume Boost (headphone jack to 6 levels)
Bass Enhance (headphone to 6 levels)
"Stereo Widen" (which sounds like a pretty bombtastic video adjustment)
    and a virtual room feature

I feel like im trying to sell this app but Ive been waiting to find this for so long that I decided to register for AF to let those who dont know, know.

I feel like there should be a dev community for this app alone, it'd be one i'd participate in for sure!
