UPDATE! I am rooted. The existing methods I could not get to work, but I used Cydia Impactor and it worked with a click of the button.

Here is the website for it and the XDA thread.

My wife just got an Intuition a moth or so ago. It got an OTA update shortly after she got it.

I am running Software version VS950022B, Build number JZO54K.

I am trying to follow the steps in jcase's thread on this forum. Any help would be great! Really need to Greenify this for her. The battery is draining pretty fast!

I am getting an "access denied" error when on this step: $ rm /data/vpnch/vpnc_starter_lock

Here is what I have done so far:

C:\Android_dev\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64\sdk\platform-tools>adb devices
adb server is out of date. killing...

chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/lgroot.sh

rm /data/vpnch/vpnc_starter_lock

Any ideas? Thanks!

ive used the Chinese method, took about 10 minutes to setup..

it basically a one click root search around with google,it should pop-up fairly quickly
