As we know, Verizon dropped the wireless part of their name and they have adopted this "Rule the Air" thing.

I saw a commercial earlier and I wanted to know the phone they were showing in the commercial was it a Droid X?

    Has anyone seen the commercial?

I think it was a Droid x because the electronics around the street were becoming animated and moving around

and plus the phone in the person's hand looked way to big to be any of verizons other current phones.

Idk lol maybe i am just anxious for the X

The Verizon link is laggy on my netbook, I found a youtube link here:

    YouTube - Verizon TOWERS

Definitely the X. Pretty cool commercial, has a Transformers feel to it. The new "rule the air" logo reminds me of something from Fallout 3 lol..

The ad was more to say about having a strong signal and showing the X

Perhaps they're touting the X's diversity antenna.

BTW... is it diversity antennas? or just antenna?

I think they're dropping the "Wireless" brand from their name too and just going with "Verizon". I don't think they're officially changing that division's name, but the branding will simply be Verizon not Verizon Wireless from now on. I guess it's a minor change, but shows that they're dominant enough that people KNOW they're a wireless carrier without having to have that in their name!
