My power was out and I needed to get on the internet so I tired to use my LG Optimus S as an hotspot. I used Quicksettings and also tried the Hotspot Widget and kept getting the "Network is unavailable" error.

    What is up????

    I'm running 2.2.2

Sprint did block tethering in 2.2.2, you have to find a way to download Foxfi. It's the only applies that doesn't require root to tether.

I can confirm FoxFi works great. I'm on Boost which uses Sprint and no problems. I downloaded it from the Amazon App Store since it's blocked for me on Google Play.
