Here's how my conversation went today at Laguna Niguel Verizon Store:
Rep: Hi, can I help you today?
Me: Yeah, I preordered the RAzr, just stopping by to check it out again
Rep: ok, they are right over there.....
Me (about 15min later) I was wondering if you could tell me when my preordered phone would be shipped.
Rep: um, well..I think it's...(now looking at their sign) 11.11.11
Me: That's when I will have it or when it will be shipped?
Rep: Yes
Me: No, my question is when will it be shipped? My confirmation says 11.10 for shipping date.
Rep: oh, yeah, the 10th (manager walks up) She asks the manager the shipping date, manager says....(no joke) I'm not sure...you should get it pretty soon...
Me: Ok, thanks (leave the store)
Im a huge Verizon Wireless service coverage fan but their 'customer' service is a joke.
