have you signed up for the email notification yet?
Yes. Would pre-pay for it now if I could.
Is it valid and legit?
Just kinda funny it doesn't come up in a search on the official site and the submit is listed as "void(0)"
It's asking me for login info. Evidently I don't have credentials. But yeah, I would sign up.
I signed up - but can't get on now?
i don't get it? why would i sign up for a notification that it's available? I check this site and other Android sites like 50+ times a day
But at the very least we have 100% confirmation and a nice picture to stare at now.
I have a feeling that this is still a staging site and the emails you entered probably went to a staging database. None of this will go live. The live site will have a new database. I'm just taking and educated guess....I still signed up anyway. ;-)
I got in and signed up before the page was taken down.
if you signed up before they added the password i would sign up again once it gets put up again, just in case
lol i was thinking the same thing but i still signed up
I guess that's cool if you guys want to get your Inbox flooded with stuff
I'm also sure they use this as a gauge of popularity to see how many people even want the phone.
... If you bothered to even check out the page you'd know it's not for the customers. It's probably for distributors like VZN-affiliate store owners.
They totally did it on purpose to see how it would spread across the net like wildfire.
I managed to get to that link and sign up this morning as well.
Verizon emailed me a form to buy the phone!!!! yeah.....jk.
If you had bothered to sign-up you'd know they send you an email telling you about exciting new offers and packages for CUSTOMERS. Affiliates don't "pre-order" the device.
So that's why the site is password protected and used under their stage subdomain, not their main domain, right?
The site is under a different domain because it is where they STAGE the release of a phone to the public. That page is like the beta page for what will be the public htc incredible page when they deem it time to unveil. It's password protected now because of the press that staging site got. If it were really affiliates only it would have been password protected from the start as opposed to earlier today.
p.s. does it concern anyone that the date shown on the Sense calendar is "Wed, May 5th"? To save you from checking your calendar, yes, this coming May 5th is a Wednesday.
It's a different story now. You can get to that page from HTC's site. No login no nothing.
I signed up yesterday here: HTC Incredible?
don't kid yourself, it's for customers. just not the first day it went up.
