My NC is running the manual neuter version of the os. All of a sudden its not charging past 5 percent. I usually run off a bootable cm7 sd card. However before I tried that I was running root stock. I am planning on charging over nite but if it fails using my cwm bootable sd to return to stock and exchange the nc. Nice thing about that if it worked would be just popping in the sd card to get back my configuration on a new nc. If it couldn't boot at all wouldn't need to unroot but seems to boot. Need to unroot so no one sees manual neuter boot animation. Not sure if there is anything else I should try?

Can you run it while it's charging? Maybe you can get far enough to do a factory reset before returning it.

What is the factory reset sequence key combination? Never did anything but root it. Hopefully still there. Cwm is on an sd card.

Was home button volume and power simutaneously. Weird thing is it finally fully charged. But I'm gonna leave it unrooted for now cause I'm running cm7 off sd card.gonna see if it charges back up normally after I use up the power. If takes more than overnite I plan to exchange it. Has anyone tried.1.4 b&n update? Is it any good?

If you like the B&N firmware, then 1.4.1 is an improvement, IMO. If not, you'll hate it! :)

What condition is your usb cable? Maybe you need a new cable.

Are you using the stock charger and stock cable?

I like to plug the usb cable in and shut down my NC at night and unplug it in the morning. (Make sure it shuts down.) It'll charge faster if it isn't running.
