I just recently decided it was time to root my Droid. So after spending the last couple hours reading up on things so I'd actually know what I was doing and why I was doing it, I got started. Rooting was successful. Next was installing the SPRecovery. Slight hiccup:

I've got plenty of linux background, so I actually prefer going through each step. That way I know exactly what is happening to my phone :)
