So I did the disk drive mount with my evo to my laptop and I tried to just copy and paste the music from my evo to my laptop, then when I unplugged my evo from the computer and tried playing one of the songs on my laptop, a message popped up on my computer saying "please insert device into f drive" or something along those lines.

is there any way I can transfer my music from my evo to my laptop?

    thanks!

those should work. it could be just a glitch. try doing a soft reset. power off, wait 10 seconds, then reboot. see if that works.
