Just as the title says, I go to uninstall some useless apps I dont need like amazon kindle and some of the ATT apps I delete them but they don't stay deleted. When I restart the phone they are all there again and I have no clue to permenently uninstall them. It's crazy I have more then 8 gigs of "other" so my phone says. In titanium app some of these apps are red. Some are green. And some are white. I just got my ONE maybe 3 days ago. Thanks for the advice.

Sorry if that was really patronising man  its just when you said you'd had it 3 days
Hmm i duno man. Does freezing them work?
Have you tried just finding them on a file explorer and deleting them?

Lol it's ok. Ya.. I haven't tried explorer yet. I have frozen some but that doesn't delete them from memory. Like I said, over 8gbs of crap on here. Wanna delete some of it. What programs would you suggest to manually delete.

Ive never even owned an HTC bro so i wouldnt like to say. I know sometimes uninstalling an innocent looking app can affect others. Id check out the HTC One all things root forum on here if there is one for some specialised advice

    Hi iichar

I don't have the One but htc phones are normally S-On out of the box. That's security on which means the system partition is security protected. It's intended to prevent you removing those all important system apps but it also prevents the removal of bloat ware.

Don't despair. As you have root you can flash a custom rom that doesn't have the bloat or you can usually remove apps you don't want from the custom rom zip file before flashing.

There is a good article here on what S-On/S-Off means. I suggest you ask your question again in the correct root section of the htc One sub-forum where you will find people with an in depth knowledge of you device.
