FYI HBO Go works on our Gnex but you have to go through the browser and not the app. Unlike Hulu Plus, they don't block our phone via browser. I had to request the desktop site but it works fine.

How's the video quality? I don't know what software they use. Silverlight?

    Most likely Flash.

Actually, I'm surprised at how well this phone can play Flash video. Certainly better than my Pentium 4 system can.

It works surprisingly well. As well as Netflix when you get it going. It's a bit difficult to navigate but once you get your movie going and hit full screen it works wonderfully. Sound is a bit quiet, but when isn't it with this phone?

What's with HBO Go not being compatible with the Galaxy Nexus? My Google Play says that it's compatible with my Droid Incredible (which is rooted) but not my Xoom or Galaxy Nexus... um... what?

They haven't updated it for ICS yet from what I understand.

They say you can watch it within Chrome by loading it as a web page, and not the app.

I watch HBO Go in a browser (Dolphin or ICS Browser+) for now, hopefully it gets updated soon.

I looks great, and it doesn't pause and stutter like the TimeWarner live TV app.
