So I recently got the HDMI Dock for xmas and it looks pretty cool but I have a couple questions hopefully someone can answer. I saw somewhere that you can use a case with the dock but my current case doesn't fit (Incipio - Hard plastic two piece). Does anyone know which cases are "approved" for the phone? The other question I have is about the webtop app. Does it come pre-installed on the phone or do I have to get it from somewhere. I can't test it yet because I don't have the micro HDMI cable to hook it up. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The Verizon standard shell and the extended battery shell both fit in the dock with no modifications. I have tried the rubberized ones and they do not. I don't have the Incipio, so I have no idea.
The Webtop app is on the phone already. Nothing to install. When you have power and HDMI run to the HDMI dock, a box will pop up with several 'modes' you can put the phone in. Webtop is one of these modes. You can check to remember your selection so everytime it is placed into an HDMI dock it will remember to go to Webtop, or you can leave it blank so you can choose each time. You can also change the mode at anytime by hitting the menu hot key and selecting a new one.

Did you remove the spacer in the Dock before inserting the cased Bionic? Just like the car dock there is a spacer for a bare Bionic that needs to be removed so a cased Bionic will fit.
I have an Otterbox Defender that I really like. And I am trying to find extensions cables that will plug in independently to both my desktop charging cradle and Lapdock.
I found the Micro-usb extension cable here.

I was able to make the connections, just not so sure this is the best way to do it.
1.
Female micro hdmi coupler.
This plugs into lapdock.
2. Standard micro hdmi cable with male hdmi on other end.
3. Widely available hdmi female to micro usb male adapter
This plugs into phone.
Hopefully I will not have to do too much altering to the adapters that plug into the lapdock or the phone...there is just not much space between the connectors.
