HD recording.......

I know people have said that it will come to the desire but I don't think it's being added via Android 2.2 and I notice the Samsung Galaxy S has it listed in it's spec SAMSUNG mobile - GALAXY S.

Will we get it on the desire ?

It's one feature I think most people would appreciate\use.

HTC themselves hinted that an update would bring Divx support and HD recording to the Desire, but so far nothing concrete.

i don't think it is coming at all to our Desires. even though hardware is capable our decoding 720p video but not sure if the lense is capable of capturing the HD video as it might just upscale from whatever the lense can capture. moreover, since the launch the was very little info on this feature and lately its gone completely quiet.
but for me instead of 720p would be better if they upgrade framerate to at least 30fps
oh well we will wait and see
