Monoprice makes the best and cheapest cables. For everything. They also make some awesome home theater gear like HDMI and DVI switches which are spectacular and inexpensive.

HDMI is HDMI, find the cheapest one and it'll work just as well as the most expensive one.

Uh, wrong, the EVO uses the micro HDMI standard, which is still not very common. Unless you have some sort of adaptor, a typical HDMI cable will NOT work.

Maybe I wasn't clear. My point was that regardless of who the maker is, and as long as you have the right connections, one HDMI cable is just as good as another. It doesn't matter who the manufacturer is, what kind of packaging it comes in, how shiny the actual connectors are, it's a digital signal so they all do the same thing.

you are right and wrong... yes hdmi is a digital cable which means
on a $100 moster cable you get 001010100101010101001...
    on a $5ebay cable you get 001010100101010101001...

but its been tested that cheap hdmi cable in the 25+ ft range have a hard time with 1080p.. your video starts to break up like satellite in the rain.. also the cheaper construction of the cable means they are more likely to break or burn out... but do the math $5 ebay cable vs $100 monster cable.. its easy to have a spare or 2

that being said... if you using a device with a hdmi cable.. if the picture is not breaking up.. then the picture is perfect.. there is no such thing as a fuzzy picture..

In my view, for products like chargers or cable, I will buy in online stores rather than ebay. for screen protector or case, i think ebay could have a better price. However, I find that the description is really misleading. I don't know who is trustworthy...

Is is available if I use my old HDMI with this adaptor...

MINI-HDMI (Type C) MALE TO HDMI (Type A) FEMALE ADAPTER

It is type C adaptor and I see some other post says EVO 4G is type C, some say it is type D...

It is quite confused and anyone could tell me whether the adaptor is ok or not...

It is a Type D micro HDMI connector.

    Type C is mini HDMI.

Kinda like Mini USB and micro USB.

What he said. It's Micro HDMI Type D. Please stop misleading EVO owner's with "mini hdmi." Only place I've found it is from Deal Extreme.

Dont spend more than 10 dollars on one. I am in new york city so I am actually going to drop by B&H (they have prices as good as online :)).

Ebay, Amazon. HTC is actually REALLy good with standards compliance on hardware. This is just a mini-hdmi port. So a mini-hdmi to hdmi cable works. Get it anywhere for 1-10 bucks (actually get it for a dollar or two in a cheap online store).

I bought a couple of the desktop cradles for my Evo straight from Sprint ($40 each) and they come with an HDMI cable.
