Do I have to use the dock to mirror my pictures and homemade videos over HDMI to TV?

If not how do you do it?

    Thanks,
    Mike

You just need a micro hdmi cable.

Mirroring works great! Performance is really smooth.

Thanks, I had hooked it up but couldn't get a signal - assumed you had to have the dock.

After your posts, I rechecked my connection - the HDMI cable was loose at the TV.

    Works great; amazing clarity.

It's just too bad that you can't use the webtop mode with just the HDMI cable... I don't understand why Moto went to the trouble to lock the webtop down to just the media dock. (Is there even a lapdock for the Photon?)
