Help Headphones and phone calls issue

I use to use my headphones (no mic on it) on my phone listening to music or something then if I got a phone call, I would pic up and start talking. Lately however they can not hear me at all while the headphones are pluged in. Did some setting get changed? anyone know how to maintain the call audio going to headphones while using the phone mic to talk?

Hello and welcome to the forums. If this just happened. How about checking the head phones maybe the MIC has broken

There is no mic these are audio only headphones. I was able to wear these (to hear the caller) and speak and the phones mic would relay my speech to the caller.

I didn't see that at first . Maybe try another head phones many get destroyed from the moisture from the ear. Maybe the headphones are shorted out.

no luck, its almost like my phone THINKs my regular headphones have a mic, and since there isnt one, the person im talking to cant hear me. they should be able to hear me through the standard phone mic but its looking for something that doesn't exist

You tried another pair of head phones didn't work . Can I ask did you download any games

Have you notice a problem with Google voice taking commands while you have headphones plugged in
Have you tried to blow into jack or push the plug all the way into the jack.

The jack is clean and the headset is all the way in. I can use google commands and other voice commands with the headphones in, seems JUST phone calls wont work.
