I have the in ear ControlTalk ones for my Desire.

They sound great but mic, volume and play/pause/accept call button doesn't work on my Desire...... but I assume this is an Android thing rather than just the Desire.
Therefore useless for making calls and controlling music.

I use the one that came with my ipod touch 3g. I know it doesn't look like the ones you described, but someone else can maybe use the info.

Bose in-ear mobile headphones! They at sell at verizon so you can get the business discount! I love them, and they are a ton better than dre (although I like dre's tangle free cords) Dr. Dres are way to heavy and hurt my ears!! GO VERIZON WOO!!!

Do they have the ability to control the music player or just answer phone calls?

I'd say go for Skullcandy's FMJ's. I'm going to be snagging a pair myself.

I'm using jazbonez in ear head phones with mic. wow lots of a bass once you figure out which set of three ear buds work best. 29.99 best sound I have ever heard for such small earphones and I have Sony mdr v6's so I'm a ware of really good sound not to mention 18 years of building car audio sound systems.

These are the ones I use and they work great. Sound is good and my wife says my voice has never sounded better. ;)
