One day I was looking for some earphones to plug into my orange san francisco and I accidentaly plugged it into an ac power adaptor. After that it seemed to think that the headset was in all the time weather it was in or out. When it was in it wouldn't play anything instead it just made a faint rustling noise. When it was out music and stuff like that couldn't play. I am now using toggleheadset2 which half fixes the problem. When I did this I had the stock orange 2.1 rom. The same problem has occured in swedish spring rls5 froyo and cyanogenmod 7.0.3 gingerbread.
