Hey everyone. My name is Ashley, and I'm back to the android forums. About 9 months ago I returned my G1 because of the horrible battery life, and general "iPhone Envy" I had. I switched to AT&T and got my iPhone. For a long while I was very happy. The iPhone wasn't as open, but I didn't care. I had "apps for everything". As time went on, I got tired of my closed system, so I jailbroke my iPhone. It opened up a new world of possibilities. My iPhone was awesome again. As far as a mobile computer goes, the iPhone is tough to beat. As a phone, it sucks ass. (pardon my french) The phone didn't get great reception, and with AT&T my calls were dropped all of the time. I unjailbroke, restored, set up as new phone, and even had my iPhone replaced twice. I still had issues. Well lately especially, when people try to call my phone wouldn't ring. Sometimes I wouldn't even receive the voicemails they sent. I started to forget why I liked my iPhone in the first place. Eventually enough is enough. Today I sold my iPhone to someone on craigslist, and used the money to cancel my AT&T contract and to buy a new phone and sign up with T-Mobile. So far I'm happy all around with my Motorola Cliq, Android, and T-Mobile. Glad to be back.
