    Hello all!

My wife and I recently purchased Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant phones from Bell in Canada :)
Our first smartphones and we've been learning/downloading/programming for a couple weeks now.

    Our first question:
Does anyone know if there is a way to lock the touch screen during a call? We are frequently hanging up on people when we are talking on our phone because the screen becomes active while we are moving about the house and our cheek touches the end call button.
Suggestions? (aside from stop moving around, or stop touching the end call button) =-)

Welcome! I have been using speakerphone mode since the WHO advised people that cellphone use could be carcinogenic. Spearkphone works really well on my Evo / Epic. And I blank out the screen by pressing the power button to preserve power while on a call.

I would advise you use speakerphone more, or a bluetooth or wired headset to avoid touching the screen and lessen the risk to your head.
