Hey everyone, I'm new here, getting my Wildfire delivered next week and can't wait.

A few quick questions in the meantime if that's ok -
1. Task-killer yes or no? Heard good and bad things about it so I'm unsure
2. Can I turn off 3G as and when to conserve battery power?
3. Other than above and lowering screen brightness any other tips for extending battery life?
4. Does charging off usb take longer than plugging into mains?

You can turn the data network off all together. I believe there will also be a setting to use 2G networks only.

Turn Wifi off when you are not using it, set autosync frequencies lower

4. Does charging off usb take longer than plugging into mains?

Yes They give out about half the power.
