I'm relatively new to smartphones, my first being an Android LG Optimus V via Virgin Mobile, a phone I picked up a couple or so months ago. Rooting it, which I did to rid the phone of all the bloat, was easy enough. Unfortunately, I recently dropped the phone, and when it started acting up, I took a rash suggestion to try a factory reset without considering all the warnings back when I applied the root. After being stuck in a recovery loop for days and adb-ing my brains out, I managed to use a nandroid backup to restore the phone. Unfortunately, this was an Optimus S backup, so the phone is still unusable, but at least I know I haven't bricked it. I registered just in case re-rooting and the thunderc-v image doesn't do it for me.
