    Welcome to the Android Forums!

To remove the pre-installed bloatware you will need to root your phone. For more information on rooting your phone, check out our HTC Desire HD "All Things Root" forum...

If you don't mind purchasing an app from the Android Market, you can try using an app like 3G Watchdog Pro...

    http://market.android.com/details?id=net.rgruet.android.g3watchdogpro

This type of app will give you specific details on overall data usage and which app is specifically using it. Other similar apps are also available in the Android Market. Some may be free...
