It's interesting to read some of the posts on here. I am sure I will have more questions than answers, so I thank you in advance.:)

I have a Droid 2, and can't figure out how to get the security code lock off. I don't want to have to mess with that each time I want to open it. Suggestions?

    Welcome to the Android Forums!

If you have corporate email installed on your phone, sometimes businesses will require the lock.

In addition to the above, if not in a corporate setting, you should have the ability to change the security lock setting to a longer duration. So once your screen times out and the phone locks, it will lock so you have to swipe to unlock, but if it's within the time frame you set, then it will just go into the OS, rather than require the security code to be inputted every time. This in my opinion is a better route to take. That way, you can maintain some form of security and not have to type in your security code every time you want to access your phone. Welcome to the forums.
