    Well, I'm new and inexperienced. I own an HTC Desire may have questions to ask about Android Apps which is why I joined.
    For the time being, I would like to know whether there is any way to cancel earlier searches in MAPS since my first steps were rather unsatisfactory and take upo space. Can anyone help? Thanks.

    If the newest version of Google Maps is installed on your smartphone, old searches should not allocate all that much space on your phone. The only way I can think of that might clear out this space would be to go to App Drawer -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications, select Google Maps, and do a clear cache (or maybe even clear data). To me, however, this almost seems like overkill...
