A long time embedded software developer who's had a Samsung Captivate for just over a year now. Have wanted to learn to develop for it but one thing or another gets in the way. My son with the other mobile OS has challenged me to display the battery life remaining as a percentage like his does. So that's the next thing after I root mine.

Being the principal engineer means I usally have at least 3 projects at any one time. Couple that with life unfortunately leaves me with not too much free time to just play with tech. I have been trying to find a project to incorporate the Android OS or an Android device into a project at work to give me a good reason to learn development on it and get paid to do so :D

Now to root a Motorola Xoom, but I'll probably do that later.

Where in the control panel do you set a signature? I don't see it but have been accused of looking with my eyes closed

Look on the left side in the green bar for "User CP"..click on that and then look for "Edit Signature"

Not there, I even used the browser search to find it on the page.

    Limitation of not enough posts?

    Edit:
The link to site rules in Rush's post answered my question.

Been away for a week or so and busy at work. But my daughter just got a HTC One X and my wife got a Motorola Atrix HD. This is my wife's first really smart device (Kindle doesn't count). She's completely amazed we can share our crazy calendars now. Now if my son had only seen the light and not gotten an iPhone.

Did not have time to play with the HTC before my daughter went back to school but I see a lot of similarities between the Zoom tablet and Atrix.
