Help a new guy? Please?

so a few questions, all answers appreciated. I just recently bought a LG Shine Plus (my first android). I love it but have some problems.
1. I can't send pictures. (Phone says service unavailable)
2. I can recieve the text and download button but cant download pics. (phone again says service unavailable)
3. force close texts. happens randomly and deletes all of my texts. why?

Have your carrier to see if their has picture messages blocked?

As far force closes, I have no idea. It may be an issue with your phone's software. Try asking here to see any other of your phone's owner have had the same issues.
