Phone keeps resetting into the image of where it would seem like it would want to update something then it fails and it just constantly keeps happening. Is my phone bricked? PLEASE HELP.

bricked? NO.... stuck in a bootloop? yes........... sometimes just pulling the battery will help........ sometimes you need a factory reset....... either way a bootloop is not bricked and can be fixed

You could try removing the SDCard before turning the phone on.

Also make sure that if you are factory resetting the phone the battery door needs to be placed back securely on the phone so it can get a signal to receive the ota programming to reset.
The antenna of the phone is inside the battery door and it must be on when you reset the phone, if it is off while you try it, a situation like this might happen.
Just thought that might be a helpful tip.
