Help? Battery problem on android 5.01

My battery is not right. For some reason it starts off normal, then discharges very fast! Then when charging, it goes slow, then unrealistically fast. See this screenshot.

An RCA 7 Voyager tablet? So it looks like it almost completely drained in a lot less than 30 minutes. And the charging does look funky as well. It doesn't sound right, and maybe an underlying problem with it. How long have you had it, and is it still under warranty?

It's not under warranty, and I've had this tablet for little over a year. This happens every single time.
