Help HELP!! Before I throw my phone away!

I'm trying to edit my contacts and mark defaults when I get this message: "Sorry! the process android.process.acore has stopped working unexpectedly. Please try again." Since I did the system upgrade to 2.2 I have had nothing but problems with my phone. I'm about ready to throw it against the wall!

Oh wow... hmm

I would try backing up your contacts.
Afterwards, go to settings => applications => manage applications => contacts and contacts storage => and clear data / force stop both of them
