Help, can't get 3G back

Recently 'factory data reset' my phone and since doing so has lost my 3G connection. Tried to follow online help with getting 3G connection with no luck, any help would be greatly appreciated (htc desire s - t mobile )

Hello, Jenpop13! Welcome to AF!

I have a couple of ideas, one would be to update your PRL and Profile, in that order.

found on my phone under menu/settings and then system updates. I start it on wifi sometimes but folk have told me that doesn't really help.

The other idea would be to maybe call t mobile, if that is possible, and see if they need to do something on their end to get you back up.
