Lately i've been listening to a lot of odd music and have been trying to deascribe it to others as best as possible and I simply can't. one song specifiaclly that has me stumped is mushroom men by les claypool. another band that i have trouble describing to others is Skindred.

Pretty odd, but I like... Are all the albums like that?

I guess what's funny, one of the mp3 places that I get music from has "Primus" as a music category. Guess they didn't know where to put Les either. :)

did a quick google search, according to the wiki primus is the only band that has its own ID3 tag. at least im not the only person that cant describe them as a whole. (dont know why i didnt google earlier)

I always consider everything Les Claypool is involved in as progressive or just experimenta; Skindred is just nu-metal. God I hate Skindred...

    Skindred is pretty awesome IMO.

I'd put Experimental or Progressive Rock for Primus.
