Root Help cwm wont finish back up

    So i wantedtoback it up so i could apply red and black theme. But when i tried the backup wont finish. I wiped the cache partion but now i have no idea why it wont finish. I have version zv9.

    Just keep trying. It works, just not every time. Something you should watch is the free space on your SD card. All of the failed backups are still taking up space on the phone so you'll want to delete those. You just have to be patient and keep trying. You aren't the only one seeing this by any means. It sounds like we'll have a much improved version coming eventually (thanks to shabby, PG and koush), but for now this is the only way to do it.

    The back up date in mines says 1970 lol

    Make sure you have your setting set the same as mine.

    Also cwm is being updated, the new version should be available soon.

    The latest CWM update fixed that issue. Install it through the ROM manager app.

    If you install the latest version through the ROM manager app then select backup through the app you can name it (auto populates time and date) and it will handle the rest automatically.
