Help HELP! formated internal sd-card on accident?

I recently flashed the leaked 2.2 rom onto my captivate, but lost root. So I attempted to redo the root using the update.zip method. I went to recovery mode and accidently clicked "format internal sd-card". now all files are gone. i.e. when i connect to the computer there is only the folders android, DCIM, external-sd, LOST.DIR, and Nook. All the other folders that used to be there llike sd and such are gone. Are all my files gone? Is there any way to undo this. please help! thanks
