Help! How to Swipe between pictures in SMS Conversation

Hi, I'm on a galaxy S3 and I'm using GO SMS PRO as my primary messaging app.

Back when I had an iPhone, when I received an sms picture from one of my contacts I could expand that image by tapping on the thumbnail, and swipe between previously sent images within the conversation all while remaining in the expanded window. Right now, I have to hit the return key to get back to the conversation and tap the next picture to view it and repeat.

Is picture swiping a possible thing in GO SMS PRO or any other messaging app?

So I figured out that the feature I'm looking for is/would be tied in the Gallery app which is used by default to view the pictures. I'm using QuickPic as my default image viewer and still haven't found a way to make this work. The stock gallery has no such feature either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Found a solution! For anyone wondering how to swipe between pictures in SMS conversation, the app Textra has that feature.
