Root help I think I may be bricked

When I went to bed last night my nook was fine. This morning I cant even turn it on. No matter what I do it will not turn on. I need help knowing what the next step is.Is there something I can do without having to take it back to factory settings?Thank you so much in advance for helping me out.

I fix it by holding down all three buttons. sorry to panic.

what happened when you pressed all three buttons? did it just restart/unlock?

All 3 buttons?

Holding down just the power button should fix it (15 second or so).

Sounds like you just had a SOD (sleep of death). Not as bad as it sounds.
