    Hi everyone I'm deaf as a post is there any way to turn up the volume past max I canhardly hear the ring tones even the loud ones like car alarm don't want to get a hearing aid yet thanks for any help .

    Unfortunately the external speaker on the handset is widely regarded as being rubbish.

    Software upgrades have improved things, which version of Android is on the handset at the moment? Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information

    I dredged this up from the back of my mind... you can get Bluetooth bracelets that vibrate whenever your phone rings, although I don't know whether you'd find this an acceptable solution to the problem. I had a quick look and found the following page. I've no idea about the suppliers or individual products contained in the link but it does give you an idea of what I'm thinking of and, if it looked interesting, you could at least use it as a starting point of your own search.
